Transact portfolios to be integrated with Financial Express Analytics
A direct link between the Transact Platform and Analytics will give advisers instant access to the range of graphical and reporting tools available – without having to spend time keying in data.
Through Analytics, advisers will have access to factsheets for funds, managers, sectors and portfolios, as well as news feeds and portfolio alerts. Analytics complements Transact’s approach and provides IFAs with additional tools to review client portfolios and compare them against funds held via other products or platforms.
The range of charts, fund filtering tools, fund comparison and correlation tables have been designed to assist IFAs with preparing detailed fund research and own-branded reports for their clients.
The new link to the Transact Wrap Platform is available immediately to current users of Financial Express Analytics. Users of the Transact Wrap Service can request an online demonstration followed by a free trial and immediate helpdesk support.
Gary Wheeler, Head of Sales and Account Management at Financial Express, commented: “Seamless transferring of portfolio information offers users of the Transact Wrap Platform instant access to a wealth of statistical tools, colourful charts and easy-to-read factsheets which will enhance client reporting and communication.”
Malcolm Murray, Transact’s Head of Marketing, said: “Transact and Analytics offer complementary services and have a large number of clients in common. Users of our platform can now transfer portfolio details from Transact into Analytics at the click of the mouse - saving time that can be better spent communicating with their clients. We look forward to working with Financial Express going forward to develop more tools for the benefit of all our users.”
Analytics was named the Leading Platform User’s Planning Tool Provider at the Aberdeen UK Platform Awards in September 2010. It was Highly Commended as Best Technology/Software Provider at the Professional Adviser Awards in February 2011.

10 years ago we launched the UK’s first wrap service. The rest is, as they say, history.
Transact were the first to launch a wrap service in the UK – back in 2000. We harnessed technology and systems already developed and pioneered in Australia, where wraps were originally developed. This meant we were able to benefit from proven technology and a wealth of insights gained from a more established market. To this we added our own in-depth knowledge of the UK investment market to ensure that we ended up with a highly refined wrap service designed to suit the needs of many UK advisers and investors.
Since then we have gone from strength to strength, to become the market leader in the UK wrap sector with approximately £9.5 billion in more than 85,000 Portfolios.* Transact isn’t the only wrap service available in the UK, or always the cheapest, but we believe for many financial advisers – and their clients – we are the best.
We have grown and developed as the market has evolved and we are totally committed to the market for the long-term. We continue to invest in technology, training and the development of new useful tools to help advisers provide the best financial planning service imaginable.
