Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. The Company is fully committed to a work environment and supply chain that is free from human trafficking and slavery. The Company will not tolerate or condone human trafficking or slavery in any part of its global organisation.

This statement outlines the details of the steps we have taken as a business to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our organisation and supply chain.

Our organisation structure and supply chains

FE fundinfo supplies the global fund industry with trusted fund information and tools, connecting >900 fund managers and >3,800 fund distributors and financial advisers to help investors make informed investment decisions worldwide. This statement applies to all companies in the FE fundinfo group.

The Company has given careful consideration to Section 54 “Transparency in Supply Chains” of the Modern Slavery Act and other similar legislation. The review has concluded that the services we provide are unlikely to be associated with slavery or human trafficking, however, we continue to review our policies and procedures to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place within our supply chain.

Our policies and training in relation to slavery and human trafficking

Each year we review our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking policy and ensure this accessible for all employees on our company intranet. Training on this policy, and on the risk our business faces from modern slavery and human trafficking in its supply chains, forms part of the induction process for all individuals who work for us, and all employees are required to review the policy annually as part of our compliance activities.

Due diligence processes

Employees in the supply chain organization are given additional training on the process of performing the necessary due diligence and inclusion of the necessary language into supplier contracts to ensure that our supply chain is free from slavery and human trafficking. Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery is communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter.

Risk assessment and management

Due to the nature of our business the services we provide are unlikely to be associated with modern slavery or human trafficking, but we continue to review policies and processes to ensure good practice and reduce these risks.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes FE fundinfo’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2023. This statement is annually reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors.
