Introducing an Attitude to Risk Questionnaire (EValue) for BETA users

Assess your client’s attitude to risk by sending them an Attitude to Risk Questionnaire (powered by EValue) from within their secure Portal, bringing together key parts of ‘know your client’ into one location.

27 April 2022

We are delighted to announce an Attitude to Risk Questionnaire (powered by EValue) is now available for BETA users, and will therefore be made available to everyone as part of their CashCalc subscription in the coming weeks.

With CashCalc, you’ll soon be able to invite your clients to complete an Attitude to Risk Questionnaire. This means you’ll be able to assess your client’s attitude to risk from within their secure Portal, bringing together key parts of ‘know your client’ into one location.

Thanks to a recently developed integration, the first Attitude to Risk Questionnaire being made available is powered by EValue. It will therefore contain all of their logic and functionality, but with the look and feel of CashCalc.

This brand-new feature will also be made available as part of your CashCalc subscription, and you do not require an EValue licence in order to use it. This means if you have a CashCalc Premium account, you will soon be able to do all of the following from within CashCalc:

  • Digitally onboard your client
  • Share disclosure documents
  • Conduct a full Fact Find
  • Conduct an Attitude to Risk Questionnaire
  • Conduct an ESG Questionnaire (coming soon)
  • Perform an Anti-Money Laundering check
Inviting your client to complete an Attitude to Risk Questionnaire is incredibly easy. When released, all you need to do is select the ‘ATRQ’ tab from the sidebar, and then click ‘Send’. This will immediately send your client an invitation email, as well as a push notification if they have the CashCalc Secure Portal app.

Once all 13 questions within the Attitude to Risk Questionnaire have been answered by your client, a summary page will display their risk profile, an explanation of what their risk profile means, as well as a suggested asset allocation to match.

At the same time, you’ll immediately be notified and able to review your client’s risk profile, as well as have a conversation with your client to confirm that the risk profile is appropriate. This means you have the ability to amend the result based on your conversation.

The result can then be used within either of our Cashflow Modellers. For example, when creating cashflow plans, you’ll be able to filter growth rates, projections and asset allocation templates by your client's risk profile, ensuring continuity of your investment strategy and advice throughout your planning.

Although this feature is currently only available to BETA users, we are delighted to add this functionality to CashCalc, and look forward to making it available to everyone in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any general feedback or suggestions for improvement.
